I have made this recipe countless times over this past year. It is a favorite. The base is wonderful as is, but I take it a bit further as suggested, with rosemary in the batter, and baked with the thinly sliced onions on too. Then I serve with arrugula, lightly dressed with lemon juice, feta cheese crumbled and either pomagranite seeds or dried cranberies. Fantastic for a starter course
