So DELICIOUS! However, I made this as a dinner over a rigatoni pasta for my family.
Just in the mood for some pasta this evening…. a nice chunky sauce as an alternative to a marinara sauce!

Hi, John. Thanks for the great review! It’s hard to say exactly why your Zaalouk wasn’t as red as what you saw in our photos. It could have been the tomatoes… it could also be the way our photos show up on your computer screen :). I wouldn’t worry too much about it as long as you enjoyed the recipe.
